Collection: Mac Wallpapers 5K & Desktop Backgrounds

All images in this collection are landscape, but their aspect ratios can differ from your monitor's. Check both dimensions for a MacBook, a 5K display, or an ultrawide setup. Leave useful space where you keep desktop icons, and avoid placing an important detail at an edge that may be cropped. Browse mountain wallpapers or ocean wallpapers for landscape subjects, and check each file's format.

One artwork is $1.99, and a few are free in the free collection; each includes an instant high-resolution original download after payment for personal use. Download the file, open System Settings > Wallpaper, and add your saved image. Adjust its position and preview the desktop before choosing your final crop.

FAQ

Are all these Mac wallpapers 5K?

Every original here is at least 5120px wide. Their heights and aspect ratios vary, so that width does not guarantee a 5120×2880 file or an exact match for every 5K display. Check both dimensions before choosing.

Will a landscape image fit my MacBook or ultrawide monitor?

Compare the file's aspect ratio and pixel dimensions with your display. A landscape image can still require cropping on a MacBook or ultrawide screen. Choose a composition with space around the subject and check the desktop preview.

How much does a Mac wallpaper cost, and how do I apply it?

Paid artworks are $1.99, with an instant original download after payment for personal use. Save the file, then open System Settings > Wallpaper and add the image. Check its position and sizing on your display.
