TL;DR

Permission to use our wallpapers in monetized or business contexts—not to resell or redistribute the source files as wallpapers. Choose a tier below; all tiers forbid resale, template/pack inclusion, or AI‑training.

0) General Rules (apply to all tiers)

  • Grant: Non‑exclusive, non‑transferable, worldwide.

  • No resale/redistribution of the original files (no packs, no “wallpaper apps,” no theme stores, no template marketplaces).

  • No merchandise/packaging and no print‑on‑demand unless you obtain a separate Merchandising License (case‑by‑case).

  • No trademark/logo use; don’t claim authorship; don’t remove embedded credits/IDs.

  • No AI training or dataset use.

  • One brand/entity per license. Multi‑brand usage needs additional licenses.

  • Seats: A “seat” = one person who can access the source files for editing/production.

  • Attribution: Not required; appreciated when feasible.

1) License Tiers

A) Creator (solo creators & streamers)

For individual monetized content (YouTube/TikTok/IG, live streams, Patreon, etc.).

Allowed

  • Use as backgrounds/overlays in videos/streams, thumbnails, channel art, posts.

  • Monetization OK (ads, tips, sponsorship mentions).

  • One creator, 1 seat, one channel/brand.

Not allowed

  • Paid ads over USD 10,000 total spend per campaign.

  • App/themes distribution or giving your viewers the source file.

  • Merchandise/packaging.

Upgrade to Business if you need higher ad spend or company use.

B) Business (companies, brands, agencies for client work)

Marketing and communications for one brand across web/social/paid media.

Allowed

  • Websites, landing pages, in‑app backgrounds (non‑downloadable), social posts.

  • Paid ads across platforms (no hard cap; typical digital campaigns).

  • Up to 5 seats within the same company/brand.

Not allowed

  • Enabling end‑users to download the wallpaper as a file.

  • Distribution via theme stores/ROMs/launchers/wallpaper apps.

  • Merchandise/packaging (needs Merchandising License).

C) Extended / Broadcast (contact us)

For broadcast/OTT/OOH, very large ad buys, or atypical use cases.

Includes (upon quote)

  • TV/OTT broadcast, cinema pre‑roll, DOOH/OOH.

  • Large‑scale campaigns with unlimited ad spend.

  • Optional add‑ons: Merchandising License, additional seats, multi‑brand usage.

2) What’s  never allowed (all tiers)

  • Resale, re‑upload, or re‑license of the original files as wallpapers or assets.

  • Inclusion in downloadable/template products, stock libraries, or theme stores.

  • Logo/trademark or brand identity use.

  • Training AI models/datasets or similar.

3) Practical Examples

OK

  • A streamer uses the wallpaper as a background and earns ad revenue.

  • A brand uses it in social posts and website hero banners.

  • A mobile app shows the wallpaper as a non‑downloadable UI background.

Not OK

  • Selling prints/phone cases with the wallpaper.

  • Sharing the source files with your community or clients.

  • Packaging or device skins sold to customers.

4) License Mechanics

  • Per‑item or per‑pack: the license covers each purchased item/pack.

  • Seats & brand: tied to the purchasing entity and the seat count in your plan.

  • License ID: your order number; we can issue a PDF certificate on request.

  • Duration: perpetual for the purchased assets; revocable upon breach.

5) Compliance & Proof

Keep records of your order number(s) and where/when the wallpaper appears.

We may request proof to verify licensed usage for audits or DMCA disputes.

6) Upgrade / Transfer

  • You can upgrade (Creator → Business → Extended).

  • Licenses are non‑transferable. Re‑licensing is required for new brands.

FAQ (applies to both pages)

Q1. Do I own the copyright after purchase?

No. You receive a license to use; copyright remains with Zaiu and the original artists.

Q2. Can I edit the wallpaper (crop, color, text)?

Yes for adaptation inside your project, but you still can’t resell the file or distribute edits as wallpapers/assets.

Q3. Can I print for a client?

Only with a Commercial License and no resale of prints unless you obtain a Merchandising License.

Q4. Can my agency use one license for multiple client brands?

No. One brand/entity per license. Buy additional licenses per client.

Q5. How do I show credit?

Optional: “Wallpaper by Dejavu Wallpaper — zaiu.jp” in descriptions or endcards.
