Collection: Galaxy Z Fold8 Wallpapers for Main & Cover Screens

About 750 landscape pieces fill the main screen when you hold the open phone sideways, and about 1,150 upright pieces fill it held the other way. About 1,450 tall pieces suit the cover screen. Because the main screen has the 4:3 shape of an iPad, nearly everything in our iPad wallpapers fits it as well. Using a Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra? Its two screens share the shapes of the Z Flip8, so start with Galaxy Z Flip8 wallpapers.

Most pieces are $1.99, and each downloads as the high-resolution original with a personal-use license. Save it to Gallery and set it as your wallpaper; the main screen and the cover screen can each get a different image. Fold and unfold the phone to check both before you keep it.

FAQ

What wallpaper size fits Galaxy Z Fold8?

The main screen is 2448×1848 pixels, or 1848×2448 with the open phone held upright. The cover screen is 1248×1972. Files here are never smaller than the screen they are matched to, so nothing has to be upscaled.

Will a 16:9 desktop wallpaper work on the main screen?

It loses about a quarter of its width, which is why this collection leaves those out. A 3:2 image loses about 12%, and a 4:3 image fits the open screen almost exactly.

Do phone wallpapers work on the cover screen?

A 9:16 image loses about 11% of its height on the cover screen. Taller 9:19.5 images lose about 27% of their height, so a 9:16 file is the better choice there.

Is the Galaxy Z Fold8 the Galaxy Z Fold Wide?

Yes. Before launch this model was rumored as the Galaxy Z Fold Wide. Samsung sells it as the Galaxy Z Fold8, alongside the Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra.
